Yes we can sit back and let the notion that sexual orientated abuse is ok. BUT it is not!!! Take a stand and start talking to politicians wanting your votes to have them pledge to add sexual orientation to hate crime laws. There is no escaping ruthlesss violence just because of who you are or of your sexual orientation! I know I lost a best friend/lover/partner already. This is a very crucial time in our history that we demand our lawmakers to add the changes changes in our laws to protect GLBT community from hate crime violence.
