I stumbled on this website while trying to prove to a friend that not ALL people who are religious are ignorant hate-mongers (Go Rev. Gene!). I can’t tell you how disappointing it was to read such callous, conservative tripe on a GLBT website. If these comments have been posted by true GLBT members, then I am “ashamed”.

One issue is not reason enough to vote for Obama. Few of us mind helping those less fortunate. However, Barack’s so-called refundable tax credits are no more than not-so-clearly disguised reparations and handouts which take away the incentive to be productive. We’ve ruined too many people already by trying to purchase their vote in this way. Surely, surely we can help lift people up in a way that does not create generations of unproductive families and sorry parents. We ought to be ashamed.

It’s hard to believe ANYONE would vote for Obama. He might be qualified to run a law practice but he has never governed, run a business, served in the military or passed a single piece of serious legislation. If you are pro-abortion and pro-sodomy, I guess he’s your man but he is certainly not qualified to run this country and certainly not match wits with Putin, in a role of commander in chief. Give me a break.
