John McCain might have been a good US President but the people in the US does not need another Republican, that is why he lost in the election. Obama perfectly states the need of the people in his campaign slogan and that is "change we can".

If the democrats cannot win this election then we have lost at lot more than any progress for the next 4 years (or 8). If they lose they will have lost all their credibility... if they cannot win with an unpopular war in progress; a sitting president's approval rating below 25%, a terrible economy, and McCain representing another 4 years of the same crap... they all incompetent and we need a change to a new party to support.

I say let's focus on electing an president who will help advance our fight for equality and we can debate the acronym later. If John McCain is elected, we can kiss any progress at the federal level goodbye for at least the next four and possibly eight years.

Well it is a pretty awful acronym. Not to defend McCain, nor say I disagree with any of the acronym's inclusiveness, referring to ourselves by an acronym is pretty clinical and dehumanizing. I hope we come up with something better soon.
